Lets open more threads to get hun, bob and all the other competent pvpers in this tournament, as they are busy pvping they cant read forum and so cant sign up for a tournmanet.
Also all the no names should be banned in general, there is no need for any other entetie then the important ones to compete as most of the no names alliance dont know how to hold a weapon and therefore should mine in empire while watching the elite to pvp on evetv.

So its crappy organization when you didnt manage to sign in your team in time, but 40 other exec and team captains did sort this out, and are now threaten as 2nd class of pvp due not being in bob, ra, goons and whatnot or playing no mayor role in eve war I.
CCP indicated clearly that there is only 40 slots, new rules indicated that you can particpated without a fat wallet, looks more like you overestimated your own importance and underestimated the intrest of the tourney.

So you rate teams as poor when you have never met those ppl and are juding because they are making fun out of ppl that missed the signup? Some of the real good pvp enteties on live server have themself proven to be not that much of a small scale fighter.
No one has thought that hun would take the cup last year, maybe this years its "empire resarch and mining" because they show the best team and tactics.
